Hi, I'm Marina. I never expected to be making traceable Bibles. In 2020 I was building a handwriting app for kids while teaching myself to read Scripture. I have dyslexia, so reading has never come easily. One day I wondered what would happen if I traced the verses instead of only reading them.

Tracing changed how I encounter the words. It was calming, and it slowed me down enough to notice each one. When you trace Scripture, you don't have to push through the page on your own. You follow along, and the words move at the pace of your hand.

It's a slow, deliberate practice, and an old one. For centuries monks and contemplatives copied Scripture by hand to quiet the mind and pay attention. Trace the Living Word is an invitation into that practice. Each page carries the King James text in a soft grey tracing font that guides your hand, so the words pass from your eyes to your fingers, one at a time.

I care that people spend time with the actual words, not just an idea of them. You can't skim a verse you're tracing. Each word is written out, so you meet the text yourself, and you meet the words for what they are.
